During the plantation period, the first Japanese arrived in Hawai'i during the late 1800's, primarily to work in the sugarcane and pineapple plantations. With their arrival came the influence of their culture and customs. Generations upon generations later many call Hawai'i their home to this very day.
The Samurai were a class of Japanese warriors and is grounded with a strong history and genealogy. Many of the teachings of the Samurai serve as the foundations to many forms of current day Japanese martial arts which are practiced by men, women and children here in Hawai'i and beyond.
Scribe ridiculously created and casted his own Rumpus head sculpt fig with his interpretation of the Samurai, complete with an entire bunch of laser cut and fabric details (by Alisa Ross herself) which can be admired at from every angle. And yep, he too is painted head to toe by Scribe himself. This is definitely the throw down piece for the "Over the Rainbow" show!
