Scribe pounded out an entire bunch of 3 inch Dunnys depicting life in contemporary Hawai'i, some of which are based on traditions. When the tides are low and there's no waves to be found. Many turn to the streets to get their fair dose of surfing via skateboarding. Many argue where its origins came from, some will say it came from Europe during the mid 1940's when kids from the streets attached wooden planks to skates. But others will argue skateboarding was born from the surfing industry during the late 1940'a. This skater dude is painted head to toe from Scribe and was done in collaboration with Scribe's son, who painted the 4 inch skateboard. Sick!
